Handwriting analysis referred by Samartha Ramdas Swami

रामदास स्वामींनी लेखन या विषयावर दस्बोधात एक समास लिहिला आहे व तो शिकवण या दशकात पहिला समास आहे.

Samartha Ramdas Swami refers to handwriting in his book Dasbodh. Verse 12 mentions the existence of relationship between handwriting and personality. He also refers to baselines, line spacing, margins, pressure, slant, size and pastocity of the handwriting. He suggests practicing handwriting at an early age. Samartha Ramdas swami has emphasized on consistency in handwriting throughout the chapter.

ब्राह्मणें बाळबोध अक्षर । घडसुनी करावें सुंदर ।

जें देखतांचि चतुर । समाधान पावती ॥ १ ॥

वाटोळें सरळें मोकळें । वोतलें मसीचें काळें ।

कुळकुळीत वळी चालिल्या ढाळें । मुक्तमाळा जैशा ॥ २ ॥

अक्षरमात्र तितुकें नीट । नेमस्त पैस काने नीट ।

आडव्या मात्रा त्या हि नीट । आर्कुलीं वेलांड्या ॥ ३ ॥

पहिलें अक्षर जें काढिलें । ग्रंथ संपेतों पाहात गेलें ।

येका टांकेंचि लिहिलें । ऐसें वाटे ॥ ४ ॥

अक्षराचें काळेपण । टांकाचें ठोसरपण ।

तैसेंचि वळण वांकाण । सारिखेंचि ॥ ५ ॥

वोळीस वोळी लागेना । आर्कुली मात्रा भेदीना ।

पान शिषानें रेखाटावें । त्यावरी नेमकचि ल्याहावें ।

Graphology is the science of understanding the human sub-conscious mind through the handwriting.
